Samurai Jack returns in an all-new, bloodied-up version. And that was probably to be expected, considering the show is now shown during Adult Swim. What hasn’t changed, though, is the slashing, ever-determined warrior stuck in the future set on getting back, back…back to the past.

The original Samurai Jack on Cartoon Network aired four seasons from 2001 to 2004. Phil LaMarr will reprise his role as the time-traveling, demon-battling protagonist, according to a report by ComicBook.com’s Megan Peters. Mako Iwamatsu, who voiced antagonist Aku, died in 2006. While unconfirmed, voice actor Greg Baldwin is the possible replacement. Baldwin filled in for Iwamatsu in Avatar: The Last Airbender TV series as Uncle Iroh after Iwamatsu’s death. The 56-year-old also voiced Aku in the video game FusionFall.

Season 5 is set to release on March 11 at 11:30 p.m.
