It was subtle, and it was short, but the latest The Defenders teaser might have just revealed the show’s release date. In an elevator in Midland Circle Financial, Luke Cage (Mike Colter), Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Iron Fist (Finn Jones) and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) descend in an elevator, preparing for a bout with the Hand, the group’s antagonistic organization.
In the closing seconds of the teaser, Jones recognizes the security camera from which viewers are observing the four heroes. She makes quick work of the camera, disconnecting it and ending the feed. At the moment she disconnects it, the time stamp in the top right corner reads “08:18:20:17.”
While not confirmed, that hint is potentially suggesting The Defenders will hit Netflix on Aug. 18, 2017.
