On Thursday, the University of Central Florida and the University of Pittsburgh agreed to a two-game series between the two schools’ football programs.
UCF will host Pittsburgh on Sept. 29, 2018. The Knights will then travel to Pittsburgh on Sept. 21, 2019.
As for the overall series between the two institutions, the Knights and Panthers have only played each other once. That result ended in a 52-7 UCF loss. Pittsburgh, who finished the 2016 season 8-5 and played Northwestern University in the Pinstripe Bowl, was the only team to beat the 2016 national champion Clemson Tigers.
On the other hand, UCF finished the season 6-7, following a 31-13 loss to the Arkansas State Red Wolves in the Cure Bowl.
