Each month, Netflix updates its library with new titles and shows for subscribers’ streaming enjoyment, and this month is no different. Here’s a brief preview of what to expect in April.

On April 1, a veritable dump of new content appears ripe for watching. The cult classic Gremlins (1984), the entire American Tail trilogy and the Beatle’s tribute film Across the Universe all make their way to the streaming service. Louis C.K. debuts his new standup special, Louis 2017, on April 4.

Then, on April 6, the Disney-Netflix deal continues when Steven Spielberg’s The BFG becomes available. Keeping with the animated films, Academy-Award-nominee Kubo and the Two Strings drops on April 8.

On April 14, the long-heralded Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return makes its triumphant debut. Starring Patton Oswalt, Felicia Day and Jonah Ray, the Kickstarter funded revival will keep the same format as the original show, with Ray providing comedic commentary on old B-list science-fiction films.

One week later, on April 21, Bill Nye makes his way back onto television screens (and into our hearts and minds) with his own Netflix original, Bill Nye Saves the World. The title speaks for itself.

Netflix rounds out the month with Dear White People from creator and writer Justin Simien and Rodney King, a recording of Roger Guenveur Smith’s one-man show about the titular man and the struggle and controversy he faced.
