Orlando City B Will Play Louisville City FC in Home-opener

It was announced in late November that Orlando City B would join the Orlando City SC first team and the Orlando Pride in playing the 2017 season in the new soccer-specific stadium in downtown Orlando. On Friday, the club announced that the second-year United Soccer League team will plays its home-opener against Louisville City FC on on Thursday, March 30.

OCB will travel to play the Tampa Bay Rowdies on Saturday, March 25 for the season-opener.

Last season, OCB played its games at Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Fla.

In OCB’s first year in the USL, the team made the playoffs as the eighth seed. The second-team Lions would fall to the New York Red Bulls II 4-0 in the first round after a 2-0 win over Bethlehem Steel FC on the last of the regular season.

The last time the club played USL games in Orlando was at the then-Citrus Bowl. There, the club without a Major League Soccer team won the 2011 and 2013 USL Pro Championships. The team also won three Commissioner’s Cups, its last coming in 2014.
