In film-related Spidey news, there have been two new additions to the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming. According to reports by HollywoodReporter.com’s Borys Kit, Michael Mando and Bokeem Woodbine were added to the already star-studded cast.
Mando, who is noted for playing Nacho Varga in AMC’s Better Call Saul and the villain Vaas Montenegro in the video game Far Cry 3, joins the cast with basically no information about him given. As the two aforementioned characters he’s played are bad guys, don’t be too surprised if Mando reprises his role as yet another villain.
As for Woodbine, he’s expected to join Michael Keaton and Logan Marshall-Green as villains, per HollywoodReporter.com’s sources. Woodbine plays Mike Milligan in FX’s Fargo and also starred in Devil with Marshall-Green.
Both additions join a cast that already features Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei, Donald Glover and Tom Holland.
Filming for the Wall-Crawler’s new flick has already begun in Atlanta, but the July 2017 release can’t come soon enough. Until then, fans everywhere will just have to re-watch classic Toby McGuire and recent Andrew Garfield iterations to satiate their Spider-Man needs.
