Captain America has turned his back on what were presumed to be his greatest allies. Now, the good guys’ captain on the front lines has joined what was believed to be his most hated enemy: Hydra.
The captain has elevated himself to such a high position that he can execute Hydra’s plans. In Secret Empire, some of Marvel’s biggest heroes will join together to combat Captain America and the destruction he is wreaking from within. The cast includes the likes of Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool and the Defenders, among others.
Secret Empire is written by Nick Spencer and drawn by Steve McNiven and Mark Brooks. Issue No. 1 hits stores on May 3.
