British actor and one of the tallest people in the world Neil Fingleton died at the age of 36 on Saturday, according to a report by the Associated Press (h/t Yahoo.com). His death was reported by the Tall Persons Club. Fingleton was Britain’s tallest man.
Prior to acting, Fingleton played basketball at the collegiate and professional levels. In college, he played for the University of North Carolina for a season and the College of the Holy Cross for two.
Fingleton appeared in several popular movies, including 2011’s X-Men: First Class, 2013’s 47 Ronin and 2015’s Jupiter Ascending. He also played the Fisher King in Doctor Who and Mag the Mighty in Game of Thrones. Fingleton also served as a motion-capture actor for Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
