The Predator isn’t due out for another year at least. Until then, expect to see a flurry of casting announcements. The latest in the 2018 film’s list of actors is Yvonne Straohvski.
According to a report by HollywoodReporter.com’s Borys Kit, the former Chuck star is set to be in the new sci-fi flick. Per Kit, Strahovski is in “final negotiations” to join the cast.
Directed by Shane Black, the reboot film already began filming in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Together with Fred Dekker, Black also wrote the screenplay.
Strahovski reunites with Olivia Munn, who appeared in the Chuck episode Chuck Versus the Anniversary. Black’s latest film also features Boyd Holbrook, who plays Strahovski’s character’s ex-husband, Room‘s Jacob Tremblay and Alfie Allen.
The 34-year-old actress will next co-star in the Hulu TV series The Handmaid’s Tale with Elisabeth Moss and Joseph Fiennes.
The Predator is slated for a Feb. 9, 2018 release date.
