Orlando City has executed its first trade with Atlanta United FC. On Tuesday, the club announced it traded midfielder Harrison Heath for Atlanta’s natural fourth-round pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft.
“I would like to thank Harrison for his years of dedication to our club and for helping us in our move from the [United Soccer League] to [Major League Soccer],” Orlando City assistant general manager Niki Budalic said, according to the release. “We wish him the best of luck moving forward.”
In 2016, Heath scored a goal in 13 games for Orlando City B. Heath’s father, Adrian, was fired as the head coach on July 6. Heath was recently hired as the new head coach for Minnesota United FC.
