In what is shaping up as a big day for reveal trailers, the world got its first glimpse at Rockstar Games’ upcoming game, Red Dead Redemption 2.
This first look at the game comes only two days after the game was officially announced, with a couple of teaser tweets leading up to the announcement.

The trailer is brief, providing nothing in terms of plot or characters involved. Instead, this one-minute long teaser served as more of an opportunity to show off the new and improved look. Impressive visuals are on full display here, showing off new vistas that players can expect to explore come fall 2017.
While there was some speculation that the game might be a prequel to 2010’s Red Dead Redemption, scenes of a train and burning oil fields seem to suggest that technology has progressed since John Marston last rode.
Red Dead diehards can pre-order the game now.
