If you’re not happy with just the Avengers and the X-Men, Marvel has you covered. At San Diego Comic-Con, fans got a look at the first teaser of a new Netflix original, The Defenders. The show is set to feature Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez, producers for Season 2 of Netflix’s original series Daredevil, will oversee production of The Defenders. They are joined by Daredevil creator Drew Goddard as executive producer and Marvel TV executive vice president Jeph Loeb. Per ScreenRant.com, here’s what Loeb had to say about the new Netflix min-series.

We’re incredibly excited to be able to bring out four street-level heroes together in an epic tale woven by Doug and Marco whose work on Daredevil speaks for itself. They write and produce not only great action and adventure, but also the heart and touch of humor that makes us Marvel. With the inclusion of Drew Goddard, we’ve got a team that’s as formidable as the Defenders themselves.

Charlie Cox will be reprising his role as Matthew Murdock/Daredevil, Kristen Ritter will be Jessica Jones, Mike Colter will be Luke Cage, and Finn Jones will be introduced as Danny Rand/Iron Fist. Additionally, Scott Glenn as Stick, Daredevil’s mentor (?), will return, also. Apart from the playing of Nirvana’s Come As You Are, Glenn’s character is the only other voice, as he closes the teaser by saying, “You think the four of you can save New York? You can’t even save yourselves.”

No doubt that the success of Netflix originals Daredevil and Jessica Jones have led, or at least contributed mightily, to the birth of a new show bringing together New York’s underground heroes. Here’s how the two shows have ranked on RottenTomatoes.com, MetaCritic.com and IMDB.com, with the former having gone through two seasons and the latter through one, so far.

RottenTomatoes MetaCritic IMDB
Daredevil 98% 75% 8.8/10
Jessica Jones 93% 81% 8.3/10

As for Cage and Rand, Marvel also released some footage for their Netflix shows.

Here’s Cage’s, or Power Man’s, teaser from the San Diego Comic-Con.

And here’s a quick look at “Iron Fist.”

Season 1 of Luke Cage is set to release on Netflix on Sept. 30, 2016, while The Defenders and Iron Fist are set to drop sometime in 2017. No release dates have been announced for Season 3 of Daredevil or Season 2 of Jessica Jones have not been announced. However, Cox said Daredevil could be delayed past its initial Season 3 release date of spring 2017 because of The Defendersaccording to a report by ComicBook.com’s Megan Peters.

Either way, the future of Marvel Television is very bright.
