The Orlando Pride’s roster continues to evolve, as the 2019 preseason approaches.

In its latest move, Orlando parted ways with midfielder Christine Nairn while adding provisional roster spots. The Pride sent Nairn to the Houston Dash in exchange for an international roster spot for the 2019 National Women’s Soccer League season and two 2020 NWSL College Draft picks.

“On behalf of the entire Orlando Pride organization, I would like to thank Christine for her dedication and contributions to the Pride last year,” first-year Pride General Manager Erik Ustruck said, per the release. “We wish her the best of luck in Houston.”

After joining the Pride in January 2018 from then-Seattle Reign FC, Nairn went on to play 1,115 minutes across 20 minutes, recording a goal and four assists. The 28-year-old’s lone goal of the season was a left-footed, half-volley effort from 25 yards out. Her goal gave the Pride a 2-0 lead in the 21st minute in an eventual 2-1 win over Portland Thorns FC on May 12, 2018.

Orlando and the Thorns will meet again on April 14, in Orlando to open the 2019 season.
