The Orlando Magic added a guard after the All-Star break, as they signed Rashad Vaughn to a 10-day contract, the team announced Tuesday afternoon.

Vaughn has already played with two other National Basketball Association teams this season. In total, he’s played a combined 23 games with the Milwaukee Bucks and the Brooklyn Nets. He averaged 2.6 points per game in 7.7 minutes per game.

Vaughn’s journey prior to joining the Magic doesn’t end in Brooklyn, though. After being traded to the Nets by Milwaukee, he was then sent to the New Orleans Pelicans and was subsequently waived by New Orleans on Feb. 10.

The former UNLV Rebel was a first-round draft pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, having been selected by the Bucks with the 17th-overall pick. Since then, he’s appeared in a total of 134 regular-season games with eight starts between Milwaukee and the Nets.

Ultimately, he has averaged 3.1 points per game and 1.1 rebounds per game in 12.2 minutes per game.

Before the NBA, Vaughn spent played one season for UNLV and averaged 17.8 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game in 32.3 minutes per game. He also shot 38.3 percent from 3-point range and was named the 2014-15 Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year.

In Orlando, Vaughn will wear No. 20. The Magic now have 16 players on their roster.

With All-Star festivities concluded, the Magic will resume their regular-season schedule when they host the New York Knicks on Thursday at 7 p.m.
