As The Defenders prepare for an imminent threat, one of its members prepares for her second solo season.
According to OnLocationVacations.com (h/t ScreenRant.com), the crew of Jessica Jones has begun filming Season 2. The crew began production on Monday, returning to West 101st Street and Broadway in New York City, the site of Jones’ apartment that doubles as a home and her office for Alias Investigations.
Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter in one of four Marvel Netflix series. Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist—starring Charlie Cox, Mike Colter and Finn Jones as the respective titular characters—are the other three series. The four characters will collaborate à la the Avengers in The Defenders, which will release sometime in 2017.
Second to only Luke Cage, Jessica Jones is rated the second-highest on RottenTomatoes.com with a 93 percent. Luke Cage has a 96 percent rating while Daredevil has an 87 percent. Iron Fist comes in at last with a measly 17 percent. Daredevil is so far the only show with two seasons.
No official release date has been announced for Season 2 of Jessica Jones.
