Spider-Man’s 2017 is getting better and better. First, the Wall-Crawler will find his way back in his own standalone movie franchise this summer in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Now, his PlayStation 4-exclusive video game that was announced in 2016 will also be released in 2017, according to a report by GameSpot.com’s Tamoor Hussain.

Reddit user GamingSince95 recorded a live stream of vice president and executive producer of Marvel Digital media Ryan Penagos revealing the news.

And there’s even more on the horizon for 2017, like Spider-Man coming to PlayStation 4 and Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite coming to Xbox One, PS4, Windows PC. – VP/Executive Producer of Marvel Digital Media Ryan Penegos

Like Homecoming, the PS4-exclusive game is an all-too-obvious signature statement that highlights the partnership between Sony and Marvel. The game and the movie are not directly connected.

In the game, players take control of a Peter Parker/Spider-Man who is already experienced in crime-fighting. Here is the game’s official description.

Starring the world’s most iconic superhero, Spider-Man PS4 (working title) features the acrobatic abilities, improvisation and web-slinging that the Wall-Crawler is famous for, while also introducing elements never before seen in a Spider-Man game. From traversing with parkour and utilizing the environment to new combat and blockbuster set pieces, it’s Spider-Man unlike any you’ve played before.

No official release date for the game has been announced, but Homecoming will hit theaters on July 6.
