Netflix is set to keep its fresh content flowing with a host of new shows, movies and documentaries to tide over the average binge-watcher.
New movies like Jurassic Park, Blazing Saddles and Memento join the streaming service’s roster on March 1, while the latest season of shows like Better Call Saul, Love and How to Get Away with Murder debut throughout the month.
Marvel’s Iron Fist releases it’s 13-episode season on March 17, cataloging the return and rise of the final member of the MCU’s Defenders team-up. Iron Fist stars Game of Thrones actor Finn Jones in the title role and will see the return of Carrie-Anne Moss’s Jeri Hogarth and Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple.
Disney’s Netflix deal also comes further to fruition in March with the addition of Pete’s Dragon and The BFG. Pete’s Dragon was received very warmly by critics and fans, and The BFG marks Steven Spielberg’s most recent directorial outing.
Netflix has quickly become a premier outlet for original stand-up comedy specials, and this month is no different. Amy Schumer has a new original special debuting on March 7, and Jim Norton drops his special a week later on the 14th.
Netflix continues to be one of the best ways to get first access to some excellent foreign and indie films, and this month looks no different. Deidra & Laney Rob Train and Pandora are both available to stream on March 17, while Robert Redford stars alongside Jason Segel and Rooney Mara in the speculative thriller The Discovery, which debuts on March 31.
At the end of the month, an original, three part docu-series debuts. Five Came Back, based on the book of the same name, is a documentary-style series that follows five directors who filmed World War II and its aftermath. The series follows both them and the effects of their films on the perception of the war.
